An injection

Prostap DCS is an injection. It will be prepared according to your dosage needs and administered by your nurse or doctor at your GP surgery or hospital. Some patients receive one injection every month. Others receive a 3-monthly dose.

Missing an appointment

It is important that you try not to miss an appointment for your Prostap DCS injection. If you can’t attend an appointment or you miss one, contact your doctor or nurse as soon as possible and arrange a new one.

Collecting Prostap DCS

In most cases the medication will already be at the hospital or GP practice when you go for your Prostap DCS injection.

However, if you are asked to collect your medicine from a pharmacy to take to your appointment, please remember that it should remain unopened and stored in a cool place, but not refrigerated.
